POLICIES - There are thirty-five classes in a dance season beginning in September and concluding at the end of May.
- Our school term corresponds with all elementary school holidays, with the exception of PD days.
- In the event of inclement weather, please stay tuned to our local radio station for school closings. If the elementary schools have been closed, dance classes for that evening will also be cancelled. Special events as well as specific studio closings will be outlined for you in the information booklet that is given out upon registering.
- All classes begin and finish on time. Dancers should be prompt to allow for proper warm up and conditioning.
- Attendance will always be taken, and good attendance ensures good progress. We ask that illness be the only reason for missed classes. It is necessary for every dancer to have good attendance in order to progress and develop as dancer.
- Please consider that as a dancer, you are also part of a team, and required to attend all classes (rehearsals etc.) Please take into consideration that the months of April through to the end of May are imperative for preparation for the recital. Please make sure that the student attends all classes leading up to the performance. If a student must be absent from class or will be late, please contact the studio at (905) 357-0721.
- During classes our main concern is teaching, therefore, it is imperative that classes are not disturbed. Please arrive at least ten minutes before class, to allow time to put on dance shoes, use the restroom, etc. It is also important to pick students up on time.
- A student may be moved to a different class if after evaluation, the teacher finds that the student is not in the proper class for his/her ability.
- In the waiting area, there is a notice board that has the current newsletter and relevant information. Please take the time to read this information carefully.
- Costume fees are due in November as per your registration form.
- Please show courtesy to the staff, students and parents of Imagination Dance and Fitness. Gossip and negativity will not be tolerated.
- Our staff is committed to providing quality services for our students. The faculty devotes an exceptional amount of time and effort to ensure every student reaches their goals.
